Mickey was born in Annapolis, Maryland and started playing the piano at age 5. He has been playing professionally ever since. His formal music education includes studies at The Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. Though you may know Mickey through his work in jazz music, he has also recorded, performed and toured with many of the world's top entertainers: Kenny Rogers, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Barbara Mandrell, Urbie Green, Dottie West, Jerry Reed, Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, Lonnie Mack, Roy Clark, Stan Lassiter, Charlie Pride, Lenny Breau, B.J. Thomas, Brenda Lee, Lynn Anderson, Tris Imboden, John Snyder, Cristy Lane, and Kathie Lee Gifford.
